We have started compiling our Final Exam Study Guide folder.  This should come home with your child every night.  Please have your child study a little each night!

Dear Heavenly Father,
As we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day, we think of how they have followed in the footsteps of your son, Jesus Christ. Please hold our servicemen and women in your strong arms. Cover them with your sheltering grace and your presence as they stand in the gap for our protection.
We also remember the families of our troops. We ask for your unique blessings to fill their homes, and we pray your peace, provision, and strength will fill their lives.
May the members of our armed forces be supplied with courage to face each day and may they trust in the Lord's mighty power to accomplish each task. Let our military brothers and sisters feel our love and support.

We did it!!! Our compliments chain hit the ground and we are in for a celebration!  This Friday, May 4 we will be enjoying a pizza lunch at school.  The students do not need to bring a lunch if they plan on eating pizza.

Catholic Charities

Please come out tomorrow night (4/24)  to support Catholic Charities. The faculty will be taking on the 8th graders in a volleyball/basketball event.  There will be raffles, half court shots, and concessions!!  This will be an exciting event!  Tickets are on sale in lunch through tomorrow for $2.  Tickets will be $3 at the door.  The event is from 6-8:30.   I hope to see you there!!!

Yearbook Group Photos

On Monday April 16th, the following groups will be having their pictures taken for the yearbook: SOCCER, BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, AND TRACK.  Please be in your school uniforms.  Also, there will be NO RETAKES! The pictures will begin immediately following announcements.

PARP Remider

This Friday, March 30, is the LAST day to turn in your tracking sheets in order to receive a Darien Lake ticket!  If you have lost your tracking sheet, you may record your 7 hours of reading time on a plain sheet of paper.

Also remember this Friday is Read a T-Shirt Day to celebrate the end of PARP.  We hope that you and your families have enjoyed reading together this month and continue the habit all year long!

Raise the Roof for Charity!!

Please remember to bring in hygiene donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste.  If our school fills 25 boxes with hygiene products, our own Dr. Fike will spend the day on the roof!!!!

Generation Celebration

Tomorrow is our 3rd Grade Generation Celebration Mass at 9:40.  Girls need to make sure they have their ties on, knee or ankle socks, black tights or ankle length leggings, and a white or navy blue cardigan.  Boys need to make sure they have navy dress pants, a navy blue, black, or brown belt, navy blue or black socks, and a white or navy sweater.

Just a quick update...  Today we received 2 compliments walking back from Physical Education.  One compliment came from Mrs. Rippe and the other compliment came from Mrs. Granchelli.  This added 2 more links to our compliment chain.  Our chain is almost to the floor!!!

Welcome

I would like to welcome Miss Rockwood to our class this week!!  Miss Rockwood is a student from Niagara University who is pursuing her Undergraduate Degree in Education.  She will be observing and helping out in the classroom.
